The rainbow effect has nothing to do with the mirrors inside the dlp chip, the rainbow effect could be noticed because of the colour wheel inside the projector, but in modern 1-Chip dlp projectors they’re so fast that the rainbow effect isn’t really a thing anymore 😉

You should compare the best projectors and this one in a room painted in musou black or vanta black, so you’d only see the light projected onto a screen and get almost no light bouncing around dulling your image! 🤣🤣🤣

You should paint a room in Black 3.0 paint and see if the paint absorbs extra light from the projector bouncing off the walls and increases contrast.
The stupid shape of your image is the height you have the projector at you fool…. I had a projector and used it for gaming at family events so everyone could see what's going on when playing multiplayer with them, once it was mounted at the right height the shape became perfectly rectangular. Correct height > angling to get it over your fat head Linus <.<
